THE QMPM OF PROTECTIVE COATINGS CAN PERFORM THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS:

PROGRAM 1 - GENERAL SURVEY AND DIAGNOSYS OF COATINGS FAILURES

General survey of the coatings surfaces with diagnosys of all existing failures in a given area of an Industrial Plant or vessel.

PROGRAM 2 - SURVEY OF THE CRITICALITY AND RISKS OF FAILURES FOR OPERATION

Stipulates the areas and/ or equipment that should be repaired in priority order, depending on the type, scope and operational risk of the failure.

PROGRAM 3 – SPECIFICATIONS OF REPAIR SYSTEMS

Based on the previous steps will be studied a specific painting system (surface treatment + painting) the most suitable for necessary repair.

PROGRAM 4 - BUDGET PLANNING

Based on the prioritization made previously, the defects are evaluated and the repair costs are estimated, in order to provide the maintenance area and the direction of the companies with estimated budget values as close to the operational reality in the field.

PROGRAM 5 - QUALITY ASSURANCE AUDIT (QA/QC)

Monitoring the final quality of coated products, both in the surface preparation phase for galvanizing and/or painting application, as well as in transport and retouches after assembly of structures. Work based on the application of standards and procedures that ensure the final quality of the applied coating.

PROGRAM 6 - CAPABILITY AND PERFORMANCE AUDIT

Audits and reviews bid proposals and the activities of tenderers - Implements Procedures - QA / QC System, among other things, all Procedure Manuals, Execution, Handling and Transportation.

The application of the Protective Coatings Management and Maintenance Program results in the optimization of the paint life cycle and the prevention of damage to painted surfaces.

ADVANTAGES:

Maintain a high level of reliability and availability of facilities.
Minimize "unnecessary" maintenance tasks
Provide a document base for the maintenance decision logbook.

OTHER ADVANTAGES:

Improve security
Alert ahead of costs to increase
Reduce maintenance costs
Reduce pollution and the risk of contamination
Provide longer intervals between scheduled maintenance
Contribute to the extension of the life of the installation.
